My interest in media started way back in childhood where I used to design, create, and distribute custom magazines custom websites, shows, films, and interactive video quizzes. After studying Media at both GCSE and A-Level standards, I decided to apply for a digital marketing apprenticeship to help further my skills. From this, I managed to achieve a PASS in the BCS Fundamental of Digital Marketing Exam, but due to COVID-19, my apprenticeship had to be cut short. During the COVID-19 lockdown period, I did freelance web design, providing up-to-date and slick websites for SACHMA Performance and Development and Burlington Associates, using my LinkedIn profile as inspiration to reach out to me for my services.

Post-COVID I worked for Digital Marketing, PR and Influencer Agency Brandnation located in London. I took charge of key responsibilities and (with the help of Brandnation) began a Level 3 apprenticeship with Apprenticeship Connect. Some tasks internally included heading up all internal and client Email Marketing campaigns. These tasks included the design of templates, reporting of campaigns, onboarding of new clients and audience data segmentation. Additionally, I ran multiple client social media accounts month-to-month, web development for the Brandnation website, SEO reports and implementation and Meta Business Manager ad campaigns. Last January, my apprenticeship concluded with me receiving a Distinction in the final exam.

Digital Marketing Executive

After completing my apprenticeship, I was promoted to Digital Marketing Executive. I took on more responsibility within the role and started to head up the email marketing department at Brandnation. As a result I created email campaigns for a whole host of brands including: Hydro Flask, OXO, Merrell, Brandnation, Jilla Active, We Are Nations, Megmeister. Bellapierre, ASP, AntiCig, Lashfactor, Splitting Edges and more. I also scheduled, drafted and took full-time community management for the Brandnation, Hydro Flask, Magic Madhouse and We Are Nations Instagram accounts. Whilst also uploading blogs, case studies, SEO and added general updates to the Brandnation, Splitting Edges, Megmeister, AntiCig and Lashfactor websites.

Digital Marketing Assistant (Apprenticeship)

I continued on my apprenticeship, but took on a lot of extra responsibilities. From April, I became the agencies sole email marketing individual - managing multiple client accounts single-handedly. These consisted of various industries, ASP (Haircare), Bellapierre (Cosmetics), Hydro Flask (Bottles), OXO (Homeware, We Are Nations (Esports), AntiCig (Vapes), Megmeister (Cycling Gear) and Lashfactor (Lash Serum). This paired with added focus on organic social, taking charge of the Brandnation and toy retailer Magic Madhouse accounts.

Freelanced Web Designer

BURLINGTON ASSOCIATES

For Burlington Associates, I completed re-designed their existing website, using the pre-made text and images to give the website a much more modern and engaging feel, to help clients navigate through and to contact the company easier. I even transferred the site from WordPress and onto SquareSpace.

Freelanced Web Designer

For SACHMA Limited, I helped elevate their recently designed website. Working with the little information they had on the website, I created accompanying images, whilst creating a mission statement for the company and designing a style (the colour above) for the companies online presence.

Head of Digital Marketing

ABOUNDING LIMITED

At Foreign Exchange company Abounding Limited I acted as their Head of Digital Marketing during my Level 3 Apprenticeship. Whilst there I completed my BCS Fundamentals of Digital Marketing exam, but couldn’t complete my course due to COVID-19. Despite this, I managed to: update the company’s website, manage all the company’s social media and post regularly, write blogs for the website, email marketing campaigns, Facebook Ad campaigns whilst becoming proficient in Analytics, from the website to the Ads and vice-versa.

Level 3 Digital Marketer

I achieved a DISTINCTION in my Level 3 Digital Marketer apprenticeship, awarded by City & Guilds. Along the course, I also achieved a Level 3 Fundamentals of Digital Marketing award from BCS and a Level 3 Coding from City & Guilds, recieving a total score of 89% in said exam.

Fundamentals of Digital Marketing

ESTIO TRAINING x ABOUNDING LTD

At Estio Training during my apprenticeship with Abounding Ltd, I completed the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing BCS Level 3 exam. This was the only one that could be completed, however, as the company (Abounding) and apprenticeship collapsed due to COVID-19.

At Langley Boys, I completed both my GCSE and A-Levels, joining the school in Year 7 and leaving in Year 13. At GCSE I took Media, Drama, History, and German with my grades listed on my CV, whilst at A-Level I took Media, History, and Sociology, with my grades for those also listed on my CV.
